Job description

Provide coaching, support and delegate assignment to respective engineer.

Assist Utility manager to lead entire utilities, Former Holder Assembly, production line inspection related to former holders.

Perform factory energy analysis and management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and provide guideline to all operation and M&​E breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance and improvement project for all area inside Utility (UT), Water Treatment Plant (WTP) & Scrubber Treatment (SST).
• Assist Asst. Manager / Manager for electrical and mechanical breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance and improvement project for UT, WTP and SST premises.
• Assist Asst. Manager / Manager to meet the compliance of discharge of WTP are always compliance to standard set by DOE.
• Assist Asst. Manager / Manager to meet the compliance of emission of Scrubber treatment plant are always compliance to standard set by DOE.
• Conduct daily PMC meeting and update the findings to PMC Chairman.
• Follow up and solve any related issues highlighted by team.
• Train subordinate to achieve highest efficiency and quality and lead them to better preventive maintenance.
• Maintain and encourage department teamwork.
• Ensure LOTO are used for all electrical isolation work.
• Lead the team and plan for annual maintenance execution work and complete on time.
• Liaise with contractor or supplier on projects/modification/improvement activities.
• Ensure all expenditure is within the budget.
• Liaise with government officer especially during the audit.
• Plan strategic plan and delivered management goals/message to the team.
• Troubleshoot machine and determine repair and modification if necessary.
• Make sure all damaged items are properly segregated for repair and disposal if beyond repair.
• Be ready for on‑call duty after working hours.
• Coach the workers under him to be always motivated and doing the right thing.
• Ensure discipline of workers to be always in line with the management direction.
• Ensure tooling and equipment for department are in good hand.
• Ensure downtime is minimal by performing the job efficiently as per guideline in KPI.
• Provide consistent feedback to superior regarding any outstanding issues/items.
• Assist Asst. Manager / Manager to work out plan to achieve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Liaise with other departments/plants for any activities related to multiple department involvement.
• Work and try best to achieve KPI targets for themselves and the workers under him.
• Practice self‑safety and remind others on all works performed.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working experience.

Technical and Professional Knowledge: Good Mechanical and Electrical knowledge. Preferably have experience in big scale water treatment with physical and biological treatment. Preferably have experience in boiler, chiller & air compressor maintenance. Preferable have experience in systematic maintenance.

Certification / License Requirement: Certification of CePlETSO is an added advantage.
