We are looking for a talented Senior Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to building our ride-hailing and payment wallet platforms. You'll work on challenging technical problems, build scalable systems, and help shape our technical direction as we grow.

Who We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of full-stack development experience with proven ability to deliver quality code.
• Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js, with strong expertise in Nest.js or similar backend frameworks.
• Strong understanding of API design and RESTful services.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, including database design, query optimization, and migrations.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and Cloudflare services.
• Understanding of real-time systems and event-driven architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and propose technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for ride-hailing and payment platforms.
• Build and optimize frontend components using Svelte and integrate them with backend services.
• Work with PostgreSQL to design efficient database schemas and optimize queries.
• Work with cloud infrastructure on AWS and Cloudflare as needed.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate frontend and backend systems seamlessly.
• Implement security best practices across the application stack.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
• Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to technical documentation.
• Contribute ideas and solutions proactively to improve processes and product quality.

Nice to Have

• AI-powered development: Experience using AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to boost productivity. We strongly encourage the use of AI tools to accelerate development and problem-solving.
• Experience with Capacitor or other cross-platform mobile frameworks.
• Mobile app deployment experience: Knowledge of building and releasing applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including app signing, provisioning profiles, and store submission processes.
• DevOps skills: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, deployment automation, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Familiarity with Firebase, especially for push notifications.
• Experience building or working on e-hailing/ride-sharing platforms with real-time features.
• Hands-on experience with payment systems, payment gateway integrations, or digital wallets.
• Experience with streaming applications or real-time data processing systems.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven design patterns.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CDK, etc.).
• Understanding of observability and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, etc.).
• Experience with WebSockets, WebRTC, or other real-time communication protocols.
• Interest or exposure to blockchain technology or fintech solutions.
• Experience working in agile startup environments with fast iteration cycles.
