Job summary

A leading global ICT solutions provider is seeking a Technical Trainer for their Cyberjaya office. The role entails providing training to local staff and customers, managing training materials, and ensuring the quality of onsite and online training. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and over 5 years of telecommunications experience. The position requires extensive travel and is a 1-year renewable contract. Fresh graduates need not apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• Over 5 years of experience in the Telecommunication field.
• Certification in HCNA/HCNP/HCIE is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing technical training to Huawei local staffs, cooperators and customers. This includes planning, conducting courses and test of the trainees.
• Directly responsible for training effect (training plan, teaching implementation).
• Set up regional training database (including training material, training slides, test questions and other related material) to meet the training needs of the local staff, cooperators and customers (training database construction).
• Training of part-time trainers (trainer resources construction).
• Maintain training equipment to ensure normal operation of the training equipment (training property management).
• Participate in customer onsite/online training by local engineers to ensure onsite training’s quality and trainees’ satisfaction (onsite/online training).

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Multi vendor product networking experience with HCNA/HCNP/HCIE or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
• With more than 5 years working experience in the Telecommunication field and with technical training experience (Datacom).
• Understand responsibilities and assessment standards of technical trainer.
• Familiar with customer, cooperator and staff training, learning service and talent management processes.
• Good knowledge in current telecommunication network, Huawei products and telecommunication international standards.
• Good command in English and local language.
• Extensive global travel required (subject to global pandemic situation).
• Remote online training delivery according to customers’ time zone and working days.
• 1 year renewable contract.
• Fresh graduate need not apply.
