Job description

Rurutiki Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based in Puncak Alam, Selangor and will play a crucial role in driving data-driven insights to support the company's strategic business objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define data requirements, design data models, and develop data pipelines to ensure high-quality, reliable data
• Analyze complex data sets from various sources to uncover meaningful patterns, trends, and insights that inform decision-making
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate data-driven recommendations to stakeholders
• Continuously monitor data quality and integrity, and implement data governance processes to ensure data reliability (data source from marketplaces, Shopee & Lazada etc.)
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data analytics tools, techniques, and industry best practices to enhance the company's data capabilities
• Mentor and guide more junior data analysts to develop their skills and technical expertise

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar data-driven role, preferably within the E‑Commerce or FMCG role
• Proficient in using data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Pipelines is an added advantage
• Demonstrated expertise in data modelling, data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data-driven recommendations to stakeholders
• Experience in mentoring and developing more junior data analysts
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
