Job summary

A leading legal services provider in Malaysia is seeking a Legal Officer to provide proactive legal assistance on property development and related fields. You will draft and review documents, manage legal disputes, and support internal teams on various legal matters. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law and has at least 2 years of experience in the legal field. Familiarity with corporate and construction law is an advantage, and you should be capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Litigation experience or bar training is an added advantage.
• Knowledge with construction law related areas law is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Providing proactive legal assistance and advice on property development and trading activities.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents.
• Manage disputes relating to tenant’s debt recovery and contractual claims.
• Support internal teams in other legal-related matters.
• Provide legal guidance in handling employment-related matters.
