Job summary

A renewable energy company in Malaysia is seeking a skilled professional for contract administration and quantity surveying. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include assisting in drafting agreements, supporting tender submissions, and collaborating with vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong negotiation skills are essential for this role. Experience in the solar energy industry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of working experience in the related field.
• Experience in the Solar Energy Industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the review, drafting, and negotiations of LOAs and agreements.
• Support contract administration activities and monitoring.
• Prepare preliminary cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Liaise with vendors for preliminary costing and tenders.
• Ensure timely tender submissions with relevant departments.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in the review, drafting and negotiations of LOAs and agreements.
• Support contract administration activities and monitoring including EOT records, LD monitoring, etc.
• Tender and bidding support (prepare preliminary cost estimates, request for quotations and tender submissions)
• Liaise with vendors for preliminary costing and tenders
• Collaboration with all the relevant departments to ensure tender submission on-time
• Prepares Bills of Quantities including quantity take off whenever necessary
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
