Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for mechanical and piping systems in offshore facilities.
• Develop and review commissioning procedures, method statements, and checklists.
• Supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning works, including hydrotesting, flushing, leak tests, and system readiness verification.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and PETRONAS requirements.
• Monitor contractor activities, provide technical guidance, and resolve commissioning-related issues.
• Lead system walkdowns, punch list management, and handover documentation.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports and maintain proper records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (operations, HSE, QA/QC) to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirement

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• At least 7 years of offshore commissioning experience in gas processing / wellhead platform projects.
• At least 7 years of experience with PETRONAS or similar Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) in Malaysia.
• At least 7 years of discipline-specific experience in mechanical and piping systems.
• Strong technical knowledge in commissioning of mechanical and piping systems.
• Familiar with international codes, standards, and commissioning practices (ASME, API, etc.).
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong reporting and communication abilities.>
