Job summary

A telecommunications services provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled individual to support and manage commercial operations. Responsibilities include contract management, preparing customer proposals, and liaising with telco vendors. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial roles within the telecommunications or ICT industry, with strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Fluency in Mandarin is required, and knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a commercial, procurement, or contract role in telecommunications or ICT.
  • Familiar with telco services such as IPVPN, SD-WAN, DIA, and cross-border connectivity.
  • Knowledge of automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage commercial operations including supplier quotations and pricing strategy.
  • Handle end-to-end contract management including reviewing and drafting.
  • Prepare and review customer proposals and commercial documentation.
  • Liaise with telco vendors and partners to negotiate costs and contract terms.
  • Monitor contract performance including SLA compliance.
  • Work with Sales and Provisioning teams to align commercial terms.
  • Participate in commercial process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts and agreements.

Support and manage commercial operations including supplier quotations, cost benchmarking, pricing strategy, and internal approvals

Handle end-to-end contract management including reviewing, drafting, and coordinating with internal stakeholders

Prepare and review customer proposals, pricing sheets, and commercial documentation for RFPs/RFQs

Liaise with global and regional telco vendors and partners to negotiate costs, service levels, and contract terms

Monitor and track contract performance, including SLA compliance and commercial milestones

Work closely with Sales and Provisioning teams to align commercial terms with customer delivery

Participate in commercial process improvements and automation initiatives (e.g. ERP tools, AI support tools)

Maintain and update accurate records of contracts, supplier quotes, and commercial agreements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of working experience in a commercial, procurement, or contract role in the telecommunications or ICT industry
