What will you do?
  • Responsible to ensure all securities trade processing and settlement follow‑up activity within the designated cluster are completed within stipulated timeframe for each market relevant to trades.
  • Perform checks and controls to ensure all issues are highlighted in reports and escalated to manager where applicable.
  • Take charge to solve complex issues guided by procedure and guidance from more senior team members.
  • Ensure accuracy of processing is in accordance with operating procedure of the team.
  • Complete all reporting tasks and handle all queries in a timely manner.
  • Diligent follow up on all open issues until complete resolution.
  • Escalate operational issues or any abnormality in accordance with local escalation protocol.
  • Guide junior team members in improving their technical competency.
  • Support the team manager in any ad hoc requests in relation to the team’s core business or departmental activities.

Starting date 05/01/2026. Position with management. No Minimum level of study: Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent. Training / Specialisation: Not specified.

Qualifications
  • Strong technical understanding in trade settlement requirements and specific instruction format.
  • Strong understanding in the implications of failed settlement across all Asia and Middle East markets.
  • Strong understanding in the connection of upstream‑downstream dependency of Custody Settlement with its stakeholders.
  • Strong comprehension in understanding an issue and problem‑solving skills.
  • Clear and concise communication to coordinate a solution for trade issue among stakeholders.
  • Full understanding of market‑specific processes such as Buy‑In, market penalty calculation, Stock Connect and Bond Connect.
  • Personality of continuous learning & improvement.
  • Strong sense of responsibility in taking ownership of task deliveries and controls completion in a team.
  • Good understanding of ICSD, America, and European market requirements of settlements.

Minimum experience level: 3-5 years. Languages: English.
