Job description

Responsibilities

• Liaise and coordinate with contractors, clients & authorities.
• Produce detailed designs of sewerage, water supply, earthworks, road and drainage.
• Attend pre-consultation with authorities for civil design works.
• Perform structural analysis/calculation and design for various building and structural works.
• Provide technical expertise for building construction projects with responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating technical assignments, ensuring standards and procedures are adhered to and recommending process improvements.
• Scrutinise the accuracy of calculations, drawings and reports to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternate solutions, demonstrated capability in meeting new challenges.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is valued to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
