Job description

OWH CONSULTING SDN BHD is seeking a talented Civil & Structure Engineer to join our growing team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis and development of civil and structural engineering projects for our diverse clientele.

What you'll be doing

Conducting feasibility studies, site inspections and surveys to gather necessary data for project planning and execution

Preparing and design detailed engineering drawings, calculations and specifications for civil and structural components of projects

Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure design compliance with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards

Coordinate with local authorities for submission stage till CCC stage

Overseeing the construction process and monitoring the quality of work to ensure it meets required standards

Identifying potential problems and recommending solutions to optimise project outcomes

What we're looking for

Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), as Graduate Engineer is compulsory

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in the local consultant firm

Familiar with BS8110, BS5950, UBBL and others

Proficient in the use of engineering design software such as PROTA, STAADPRO and other structural software

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality results
