Job description
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Build, maintain, and expand a strong client network within the corporate office, commercial, and workplace design sectors.
  • Secure and lead client meetings to present the company’s portfolio, services, and value proposition.
  • Obtain and manage RFP/Tender invitations, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Design, QS, Project Management) to prepare proposals, quotations, and tenders that meet client requirements.
  • Take ownership of submission timelines, documentation, and proposal quality.
  • Lead client discussions and presentations, preparing minutes and ensuring timely follow-up on agreed action items.
  • Maintain consistent, clear, and professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project acquisition=y process.
  • Support long-term client relationship building, driving repeat business and referrals.
  • Attend and represent the company at client briefINGS, design presentations, and project handovers.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members where needed to ensure smooth BD operations.
  • Undertake additional assignments as directed by the Head of Department, Country Manager, or Managing Director.
Key Requirements
  • 3+ years of proven experience in Business Development, preferably in interior design, architecture, or related industries.
  • Strong track record of client acquisition and relationship management in the commercial design & build sector. swingsli> movable locales
  • Solid understanding of the full business development cycle, including lead generation, tendering, and contract negotiation.
  • Experience working closely with design and project teams on proposals and pitches.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and QS processes is an advantage.
  • Confident in cold calling, lead generation, and high-level client engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Mandarin or other languages are an added advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with CRM tools preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results under deadlines.
  • A collaborative, driven, and client-focused mindset. Good time management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience in quotations, tenders, and proposal presentation preferred.
