Job description

Lead Analyst, Business Analyst

Lead the planning, delivery, and quality assurance of business analysis outputs within assigned workstreams. Own and manage scope and solution design, evaluating risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact of proposed options. Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across trading, risk, operations, and IT functions. Assist in the design and configuration of ETRM solutions to meet business objectives. Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable solutions that comply with Shell’s architectural standards. Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clarity in requirements and project deliverables. Conduct As‑Is to To‑Be analysis of business processes with focus on business and operational efficiencies. Support testing and validation activities, including UAT, integration testing, and regression testing. Provide input on best practices and product roadmap alignment. Develop comprehensive documentation, training materials, and user guides. Assist in project planning, risk management, and progress reporting.

Desired Experience

• 15+ years of experience in playing the role of business analyst across LNG, Oil & Gas trading domain.
• Knowledge of ETRM products like Endur, Beacon, CXL.
• Strong business analysis skills, including the ability to identify business challenges, value drivers, and both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Skilled in facilitating workshops and managing user acceptance testing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders effectively across various levels.
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within Agile delivery frameworks.
