Senior Brand and Marketing Executive (Hybrid Role)

Hello from Brand Soul! We are seeking a driven, highly organised, and dependable Senior Brand and Marketing Executive to play a critical role in supporting our branding, content, and marketing execution for both our diverse client portfolio and internal projects.

This role is ideal for a resourceful coordinator with a keen eye for detail who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to precision and consistency in all deliverables. You will be a vital link, working closely with our brand strategists, designers, and content team to turn strategy into a well-executed reality.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

This role is primarily focused on operational excellence, project coordination, and reliable execution.

1. Project Management & Coordination

Serve as the primary coordinator for day-to-day marketing tasks, meticulously managing scheduling, task tracking, deadlines, and client follow-ups.

Maintain and manage all essential operational assets: content calendars, project trackers, brand guidelines, and asset libraries for internal teams and client accounts.

2. Content & Campaign Execution

Provide meticulous support in the planning, creation, proofreading, and final publishing of content across digital channels (social media, websites, email campaigns).

Ensure all final content and visuals adhere strictly to brand guidelines and quality standards.

Act as a proactive liaison, working hand-in-hand with internal teams, designers, external vendors, production teams, media partners, and influencers to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality output.

4. Research & Reporting

Conduct targeted market, consumer, and competitor research to provide actionable intelligence for brand strategy development.

Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports, critically extracting insights from data to improve ongoing campaign effectiveness.

5. Administrative Support

Provide essential administrative and operational support across all branding and marketing initiatives to maintain project flow and team efficiency.

What You Will Need: Essential Requirements

We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their work. Experience working in a branding or creative agency, digital agency, or FMCG marketing team is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated experience in marketing coordination, brand support, project management, or a similar execution-focused role within a fast-paced setting.

Organisational Acumen: Exceptional organisational and structured process skills with a proven ability to meticulously prioritise, manage competing deadlines, and track multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both English and Chinese (Mandarin), written and spoken, is mandatory to effectively liaise with our diverse client base and content requirements.

Technical Tools: High proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), design collaboration tools like Canva, and social media scheduling/management platforms.

Attention to Detail: A highly critical eye for detail, quality control, and consistency, particularly when reviewing content, proofs, and visual assets before final delivery.

Work Ethic: Proactive, reliable, and capable of operating with strong independence and minimal supervision—you are the team's reliable executor.

Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of branding fundamentals, digital marketing workflows, content production processes, and agency environments.

Location: Must be a Malaysia-based candidate with the ability to work a hybrid schedule.

Bonus Skills: Good to Have

Prior experience managing or supporting paid social media campaigns or dedicated email marketing platforms.

Direct experience working collaboratively within a creative agency or alongside production houses, media agencies, or external vendors.

Basic working knowledge of SEO best practices, web analytics reporting, or simple copywriting/editing.
