Position: Senior Auditor

Vacancy: 1 Position

Placement: Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive & Aerospace Section

Department: Management Systems Certification / Conformity Assessment Division

Responsibilities

• Carry out management systems audits in line with annual business targets.
• Ensure all audits and related activities are conducted in accordance with current procedures to maintain accreditation status.
• Contribute ideas and efforts to the development of systems and procedures to enhance the efficiency of quality system certification and to maintain accreditation.
• Review and revise (if necessary) Qualification of Technical Competence to enhance the competency of auditors and ensure the management systems audits are conducted effectively.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeroplane Technology, Aircraft Maintenance, Aerospace or equivalent).
• Minimum of 4 years in the past 10 years working experience in the aviation, space and defence (ASD) industry.
• Minimum of 4 years of Aerospace Quality Management System (AQMS) work experience within the past 10 years in full time work experience in the aerospace industry directly involved in engineering, design, manufacturing, quality or process control for a major airframe manufacturer, prime supplier, auxiliary equipment supplier and/or appropriate official civil, military or space organization.
• Minimum working experience of 2 years in the last 4 years as a full time employee or contractor within the aviation maintenance/repair/overhaul organization authorized by a civil National Aviation Authority (NAA) or military aviation authority in the last 4 years.
• Minimum working experience of 2 years in the last 4 years within the ASD industry with direct involvement in engineering, design, manufacturing, quality, or process control within a major equipment manufacturer/integrator, prime organization, or ASD regulatory agency.
• ASD industry knowledge: understanding of manufacturing and maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) of aircraft or parts.
• Knowledgeable in Quality Management System based on ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110, AS9120 and aerospace related standards.
• Experience in first, second and/or third‑party auditing/inspection/certification with good knowledge in auditing techniques & principle.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both spoken and written). Mandarin advantage.
• Willing to travel and possess own transport.
• Good interpersonal skills to build appropriate rapport, especially with organizations being audited.
• Possess Part‑66 license/qualification/knowledge and Part‑145 experience/knowledge is a plus.
