The Senior Associate, Finance is responsible for managing day‑to‑day finance operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in accounting, reporting, and compliance activities. The role supports financial controls, cash flow management, tax compliance, audits, and finance‑related initiatives while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes and review postings for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare journal entries, financial schedules, reports, and month‑end/year‑end closing items.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Monitor daily cash flow positions and prepare cash flow forecasts.
Assist in annual budget preparation, monitoring, and variance tracking.
Support financial planning activities and cost control initiatives.
Handle corporate tax reporting, SST submissions, and withholding tax compliance in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and internal finance requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for tax filings and compliance audits.
Support and execute special projects related to finance process improvements, system enhancements, and initiatives.
Assist in government‑linked compliance implementations, knowledge transfer, and finance‑related regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documents, and responses.
Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, consultants, and internal stakeholders on finance matters.
Assist in finance‑related projects and ad‑hoc tasks as required.
Participate in special committees, task forces, and cross‑departmental initiatives as assigned.
Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and collaboration to support organisational goals.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of AR/AP processing and month‑end closing activities.
Maintain zero major audit findings related to accounting errors or non‑compliance.
Submit tax filings and statutory reports within prescribed deadlines.
Ensure cash flow forecasts and budget tracking are accurate and updated regularly.
Complete assigned finance projects and initiatives within agreed timelines.
Achieve positive feedback from internal and external stakeholders on responsiveness and professionalism.
Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Minimum at least 7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or audit.
Knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
