Senior Associate – Inclusion & Diversity and Corporate Sustainability – Acceleration Center Kuala Lumpur (AC KL)

Key responsibilities
- Support the execution of Corporate Sustainability and I&D strategies in line with AC KL and firm priorities.
- Coordinate the delivery of sustainability, I&D and people engagement initiatives, including events, campaigns and volunteering activities.
- Manage programme logistics, timelines and documentation to ensure smooth execution.
- Draft business cases and light proposals for enhancements; prepare options and recommendations for Manager review.
Communications & engagement
- Develop internal communications and campaign materials related to sustainability and I&D initiatives.
- Support content development for employee communications, internal platforms and external channels where required.
- Engage employees, champions and volunteers to build awareness, participation and a strong culture of inclusion and giving back. Support employee resource groups in running activities and people engagement.
Measurement, data & reporting
- Collect, track and analyse people programme data and metrics.
- Support reporting on programme outcomes and impact for internal stakeholders.
- Identify trends, insights and opportunities to strengthen programme effectiveness.
- Manage yearly emission data collection.
Stakeholder collaboration
- Work with internal teams across AC KL and other AC offices to support coordinated programme delivery.
- Liaise with external vendors, NGOs and service providers as required.
- Support relationship management with senior leaders and programme sponsors.
Continuous improvement & learning
- Stay informed on emerging I&D and sustainability trends and best practices.
- Contribute ideas to improve existing programmes and develop new initiatives.
- Build knowledge across sustainability topics including net zero, wellbeing, inclusion and social impact.
Skills and Knowledge
- 2‑4 years of relevant experience with expertise in Inclusion and Diversity, People Engagement, Corporate Responsibility, Net Zero/Environment, stakeholder management, change management, communications and project management.
- Demonstrate agility to learn and apply new concepts effectively.
- Ability to think critically and strategically, connecting diverse pieces of information to proactively address challenges.
- Independent problem‑solver with the initiative to work autonomously without needing extensive direction.
- Able to manage several projects simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- High proficiency in using spreadsheets and slides.
- Capable of analysing data and providing insightful recommendations or interventions.
- Knowledge in using Alteryx and PowerBI is a plus.
- Flexible and agile in learning new skills, such as Net Zero, sustainability, wellbeing and inclusion issues, and applying this knowledge to work effectively.
- Innovate and improve current programs.
