Job summary

A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a candidate to provide full support in organizing conferences and client meetings. Responsibilities include managing event budgets, coordinating travel arrangements, and liaising with various departments. Ideal candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in financial institutions or be fresh graduates with a keen interest in the financial services sector. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full support on organizing conferences and client meetings.
  • Manage event budget including the expenses for corporate access merchandise.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements/logistics for events.
  • Liaise and work closely with Sales/Research, and external vendors.
  • Prepare event reports, feedback, proposals, and presentations.

Job description

Provide full support on organizing conferences, analyst marketing, non-deal roadshow, deal roadshow for IPOs, client meetings and lunches on planning and execution of events.

Assist in events administrative work, managing event budget including the expenses for corporate access merchandise.

Responsible for calendar management and preparation of presentation materials.

Coordinate travel arrangements/logistics for as part of the event support such as travel & accommodation, catering and onsite coordination.

Liaise and work closely with Sales/Research, colleagues from other department and external vendors.

Prepare present/post event reports, feedback, proposals, presentations and meeting materials when require.

Assist in ad hoc project/ad hoc duties assigned if necessary.

Job Requirements

Preferably 2–3 years of experience in financial institutions, especially in administrative or corporate access roles within equity research or sales. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in financial services are encouraged to apply.

Education Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
