Responsibilities
  • Ensure all assignments, tasks, and deliverables are completed with high quality assurance and compliance for diverse clients.
  • To be equipped, familiarize and master the Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standard (MPERS) and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) requirements and any other auditing requirements and standards imposed by the relevant authorities (“Standards”).
  • To be equipped, familiarize and master the Income Tax Act, rules, by‑laws, and regulations relating to tax audit, audit reviews and tax clearance (“Laws”).
  • Lead the audit and tax team assigned by your superior and ensure your team members achieve and complete all assignments, tasks and deliverables within the timelines and expectations in accordance with the Standards and Laws.
  • Accomplish department objectives by managing team members, planning, and evaluating department activities.
  • Perform detailed analytical reviews of financial statements and reports.
  • Execute the audit procedures as defined by engagement objectives and planned audit approach.
  • Communicate and discuss potential audit issues with Managers and Partners.
  • Prepare tax computations for the audited reports.
  • Prepare draft audit reports in accordance with MPERS/MFRS and other statutory disclosure requirements.
  • Handle multiple audit and tax assignments.
  • Review unaudited financial statements (when needed).
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification in Accounting or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude.
  • Work well in deadline‑driven environments. Possesses own transport.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud audit software (advantageous).
