Job summary

A financial services company in Johor Bahru seeks a finance professional to assist the Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities include managing the Group's cash flow, liaising with auditors and banks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate must be an MIA member, experienced in finance, and fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. A commitment to travel for work is required, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be an MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants) member.
  • Very experienced in Accounts/Finance.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Chief Financial Officer in all matters.
  • Manage cashflow requirements of the Group.
  • Meet bankers on financing matters.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agent, and government bodies.
  • Assist in preparation and analysis of financial reports.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports for Bursa Malaysia.
  • Prepare budgets and cashflow projections.
  • Assist with tax planning for the Group.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Must be able to travel outstation.

Job description
  • Assist Chief Financial Officer in all matters.
  • To manage cashflow requirements of the Group, taking into account all relevant stakeholders.
  • To meet up regularly with bankers on financing matters.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agent, bankers and relevant government bodies for audit, taxation and financial matters.
  • Assist in the preparation, review and analysis of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports as well as other relevant reports within stipulated timelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and Annual Reports for submission to Bursa Malaysia.
  • Be able to prepare budgets/cashflow projections.
  • Assist with the tax planning for the Group.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for the Group of companies.
  • Must be able to travel outstation for works.

Requirements

  • Must be an MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants) member.
  • Very experienced in Accounts/Finance.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Working Days And Working Hours

  • 5-days work week (Monday to Friday : 9:00 am to 6:00 pm).
