A leading rental company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to manage accounts payable and receivable, financial statements, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least 7 years of relevant experience, particularly in handling full sets of accounts. Handle accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, costing and financial statements.
Manage budget and control income, cash flow, and expenditures.
Handle and managing day to day operations of accounting reporting, invoices, filing and to maintain up to date record.
Perform monthly bank reconciliation, monthly analysis, monthly cheque issuance, daily collection.
Prepare and submit management account report as per dateline.
Manage tax calculation and declaration.
Liaising with external auditors, authorities and tax agents on the accounting audit and income tax matters if required.
To liaise with HQ, Company Secretary and Statutory Bodies including LHDN, RMCD, EPF, and SOCO.
Ensuresupplierpayment integrity and smooth pay-out.
Support management with financial insights for decision making and business planning.
Prepare and submit SST filings and to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Monitoring status of overdue collections.
Perform other duties and responsibility as assigned by superior from time to time.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
Minimum 7 years of experience of relevant accounting experience including in monthly closing, audit, and tax coordination.
Proven experience in handling full set of accounts independently.
Have strong knowledge in E-invoicing SST, Income Tax, CP204 and Withholding Tax. Familiar with EPF, SOCSO and EIS.
Have strong knowledge in Malaysia Accounting Standard.
Strong understanding and able to handle full set of accounts independently specifically in group accounts or multi-entity reporting.
Proven experience in supervising and coaching subordinates, with the ability to evaluate their performance.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
