Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and driven Senior Accounts Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage financial processes, including the preparation of full set accounts, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting and analysis. You will assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements, while supporting audits and ensuring adherence to financial regulations. Strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment are essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) functions to maintain a complete set of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare month-end financial closing process (including adjustment).
• Review and post monthly journal entries for accruals, provisions, prepayments, and other relevant transactions.
• Oversee fixed assets register, cash flow management & FD/Repo placement (Daily).
• Perform inventory reconciliations and coordinate periodic stock takes at outlets and consignment locations to ensure accurate inventory management and adherence to scheduled timelines.
• Support management with ad-hoc financial tasks, special projects, and reporting requirements as needed.

Requirements

• Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in accounting and finance.
• Languages required: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. We are looking for candidates who are proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• A collaborative team player and able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
