About the role

Sensorlink Sdn Bhd, a leading technology company in Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join their dynamic finance team. In this full‑time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation for multiple subsidiaries and associated companies.
  • Perform financial reporting in compliance with IFRS.
  • Manage month‑end closing activities, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
  • Review subsidiary financial statements and ensure adherence to group accounting policies.
  • Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reports, variance analysis, and financial commentary.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely completion of audit requirements.
  • Perform costing analysis and support costing‑related financial decision‑making.
  • Handle tax‑related matters, including tax compliance, computation schedules, and liaising with tax agents.
  • Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting activities.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations for consolidation.
  • Enhance internal controls, accounting procedures, and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders within the group.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles, particularly in financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and IFRS.
  • Proven experience in group consolidation of financial statements.
  • Proficiency in costing methods and analysis.
  • In‑depth understanding of tax compliance and taxation principles.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in an audit firm (Big 4 or mid‑tier) is a strong advantage.
  • The ideal candidate should be detail‑oriented, possess strong technical accounting knowledge (including IFRS), and be capable of managing complex financial data across multiple entities.
