Job summary

A leading energy firm in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented individual for an accounting role. The successful candidate will handle financial reporting, manage daily accounting operations, and assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting. Preferred candidates have at least 4 years of accounting experience and a degree in Accounting. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office and AutoCount will be advantageous. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge in prior audit will be an added advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and proactively meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts in compliance with standards.
• Oversee daily accounting operations like billing and collections.
• Generate monthly management reports and analyze variances.
• Execute operational finance functions supporting daily activities.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and budget control.
• Perform cash flow forecasting to monitor company liquidity.
• Liaison with auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions.
• Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
