We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a leading New Materials Enterprise in Johor Bahru. The successful candidate will manage accounting operations, ensure compliance with Malaysian financial standards, and support financial planning and reporting for the manufacturing plant. This position plays a key role in financial governance and coordination with the group headquarters.

💼 Job Responsibilities / 岗位职责

• Manage assistant accountants to ensure accurate bookkeeping in compliance with accounting standards. 管理助理会计师团队，确保账簿及时准确，符合会计准则。
• Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Capex, etc.) and conduct financial analysis. 协助编制月度/季度管理报表（损益表、资产负债表、现金流量表及附表），并进行财务分析。
• Support quarterly external reporting and annual statutory compliance. 协助完成季度外部报告与年度法定账务合规。
• Assist senior manager in internal controls, coordinating with finance sub-functions (AP, AR, Treasury, Accounting) to resolve issues. 协助高级经理执行内部控制，协调业务部门与财务子职能（应付、应收、资金、会计等）解决问题。
• Support working capital management, treasury, taxation, and financial planning. 支持营运资金管理、资金运作、税务及财务规划。
• Monitor and report on capital investments. 监控并报告资本投资情况。
• Reconcile and track project capital expenditure and cost-to-complete. 协调资本支出数据，追踪项目成本。
• Conduct impairment tests and ensure investment-related compliance. 执行资产减值测试及投资相关会计合规。
• Report exposures such as FX and interest rates, and forecast hedging needs. 报告外汇、利率等风险敞口，预测对冲需求。
• Work with Group Tax Manager to optimize tax structure and effective tax rate. 与集团税务经理协作，优化税务架构与有效税率。
• Ensure compliance with inter-company procedures, transfer pricing rules, and indirect tax requirements. 确保账簿符合税务合规，包括转让定价、关联交易及间接税。

🎓 Qualifications / 任职资格

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, professionally qualified (CPA/ACCA). 财务或会计本科，持有专业资格（CPA/ACCA）。
• 5–10 years post-qualification experience, age not exceeding 40. 5–10年资格后从业经验，年龄不超过40岁。
• Preferably with experience in new materials, chemical, or manufacturing industries. 有新材料、化工或制造业财务经验者优先。
• Experience working with Chinese enterprises, familiar with Chinese business culture. 有与中资企业合作经验，熟悉中国企业文化。
• Strong knowledge of accounting policies and compliance awareness. 熟悉会计政策与流程，具备合规意识。
• Good analytical and decision-making skills, able to liaise with auditors and advisors. 良好的分析与决策能力，能与外部审计/顾问沟通。
• We are seeking candidates proficient in both English & Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders. 我们正在寻找精通中英文的候选人，以便与多元化的客户群体和合作伙伴进行有效沟通。
• SAP experience is a plus. 熟悉 SAP 系统者优先。
