We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Accountant. Reporting to the Team Lead/Assistant Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur and offers local/regional coverage allowing you to make a significant impact to our Financial Accounting and its growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform clients' book-keeping and record accounting entries, including accruals, adjustments, and month-end journals ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
Prepare timely weekly, monthly, and year-end accounts, including aging reports, listings, and management reports, while meeting all deadlines with minimal supervision.
Review consolidation accounts, monthly accounting schedules, and management reports prepared by service providers.
Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate reconciling items, and monitor unusual variances or movements.
Review annual statutory and non-statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors during audit cycles.
Coordinate with tax advisors on tax computations, filings, and submissions; perform monthly tax calculations when required.
Support Business Units/clients by ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
Review and provide guidance on work prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of relevant experience in client accounting or financial audit fields.
Possess experience in guiding and reviewing junior members' work before submission.
Diploma/Degree or in the midst of pursuing professional studies in accounting/financial or its equivalent such ACCA, MIA or CPA.
Must possess management, good communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
