Job summary

A payroll services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified accounting manager to oversee full sets of accounts for its APAC entities. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with payroll laws, leading a team of junior accountants, and managing financial reporting and audits. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting or Finance, an ACCA or CPA certification, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. This role is open to Malaysians and permanent residents only.

Job description

This role is to manage the full sets of accounts for Marco business entities in the region, and to provide professional expertise, supporting the company’s business growth. She/He also needs to work extensively with government agencies to ensure payroll payment and tax compliance.

In charge of APAC entities.

Responsible for accounting operations, intercompany activities, reconciliation, monthly management reporting, statutory reporting, GST filing, corporate tax filing and preparation of financial statements.

Liaise and co-ordinate with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities where required.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and company policies.

Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes.

Lead a team of junior accountants.

Requirement

Good degree in Accounting or Finance, with ACCA/ CPA certification.

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experiences; full sets of accounting experience is preferred.

Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel skills; other systems experience will be added advantage.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
