Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Keep financial records up to date (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).
  • Close accounts accurately and on time.
  • Process and record daily financial transactions.
  • Handle accounts payable: verify, approve, and issue payments.
  • Reconcile and update bank statements daily.
  • Do monthly bank and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports.
  • Organize and file accounting documents.
  • Communicate with auditors, tax agents.
  • Monitor cash flow to ensure operational funding.
  • Process staff and director claims on time.
  • Prepare and manage monthly payroll.
  • Follow payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Transactions: Process and record daily financial transactions.
  • Handle accounts payable: verify, approve, and issue payments.

  • Prepare financial reports (revenue, profit & loss, balance sheet, aging of debtors and creditors, cash flow).
  • Documentation and Filing: Organize and file accounting documents for easy access.
  • External Communication: Communicate with auditors, tax agents, and other relevant parties about accounting issues.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure there is enough money for operations.
  • Claims Processing: Process staff and director claims on time.
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare and manage monthly payroll, including salaries and deductions.
  • Follow payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: LCCI Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy, or similar.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in accounting or finance.
  • Skills: Knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Systems: Proficient in SQL/AutoCount software and Microsoft Office.
  • Languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia required.
  • Audit experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a bonus.
