Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, statements, and account summaries for management review.
• Manage full set of accounts and monitor and manage cash flow, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), payroll, rental & utilities, maintenance, fixed asset purchases, loan installments, and adhoc payments.
• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including SST, TDS, and income tax compliance.
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor and enhance internal controls and standard financial procedures.
• Lead and manage the month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure timely invoicing, follow up on payment collections, and resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff. Monitor account performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations or corrective actions.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management related to the role.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in account management in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
• Ability to communicate, present and lead a team.
• Ability to multi‑task and deal with high volumes of work.
• Experience in manufacturing / production line of furniture or relatable items.
• Able to work independently, under pressure and deal tactfully with people at all levels.
• 5 working days per week.
• Willing to work at Serdang, Seri Kembangan.
