A leading accounting firm in Malaysia seeks a Human Resources Executive to manage payroll processing, recruitment, and company events. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, HR certifications are preferred, and must demonstrate excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. This role is crucial for maintaining payroll accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing employee engagement through various company activities.
Process monthly payroll in compliance with local regulations, including salary calculations, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory contributions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
Maintain accurate payroll records and provide reports as needed.
Handle the preparation and issuance of annual EA Forms.
Prepare and submit annual statutory Form E.
Handle stamp duty matters for new staff, including the stamping of employment‑related documents.
Manage end‑to‑end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
Coordinate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate profiles.
Conduct background checks and reference checks on shortlisted candidates.
Ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process to meet staffing needs in a timely manner.
Plan and organize company events, including team‑building activities, Sports Tournament, and celebrations.
Promote employee engagement and foster a positive work culture through regular activities and feedback sessions.
Assist in developing programs to improve employee morale, motivation, and retention.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
HR certifications such as SHRM‑CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) or PHR (Professional in Human Resources) can be an advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels and handle sensitive issues professionally.
Strong interpersonal skills to manage employee relations and address queries.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Attention to detail when processing payroll, handling employee records, and organizing events.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, especially when handling recruitment, payroll processing, and performance appraisals simultaneously.
Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential employee and company information.
