Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Security Systems Project Manager - REMOTE. This role is crucial for leading the integration of advanced security technologies across various projects on the East Coast. The selected individual will manage large-scale system installations, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain schedules and drive projects to successful conclusions, all while maintaining comprehensive documentation to support project delivery. This position allows for remote work, but candidates must reside on the East Coast to align with project needs. Travel to project sites is expected about 15% of the time.

Accountabilities
  • Lead all phases of security-systems projects including design, bid management, installation oversight, and final testing and commissioning for new builds and MACs across the region.
  • Develop detailed project plans defining scope, schedule, deliverables, resources, budget, and risk management strategies.
  • Design and review security system layouts (CCTV, access control, intrusion, intercom, etc.) in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
  • Evaluate vendor bids, manage the selection process, and oversee contractors through installation to ensure quality, compliance, and documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to align project scope, schedule, and execution.
  • Oversee system testing, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure full functionality, proper documentation, and client sign-off.
  • Track project performance, issues, and financials — including cost and schedule variances — and apply structured change management processes as needed.
  • Maintain all project documentation and ensure client satisfaction, safety, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of project management experience leading enterprise-wide security-systems deployments (new builds and/or large MAC/upgrades) and construction/physical infrastructure projects.
  • 5+ years of experience managing vendors, including installation oversight, quality assurance, change control, commissioning, and project close-out.
  • Expert knowledge of Genetec VMS and Access Control, with preference for experience in cloud-based deployments.
  • Excellent project management skills with proficiency managing numerous concurrent project deliverables with little supervision.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator: able to influence cross-functional teams, engage at technical and executive levels, and drive consensus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field and PMP/CISSP certification is preferred.
  • Entertainment/Tech industry experience is preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Flexible working hours to promote work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a dynamic team environment.
  • Professional development opportunities to enhance skills and advance your career.
  • Work remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
