Job summary

A leading security services provider in Penang is seeking a Security Officer to protect the company's assets and ensure the safety of employees. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in industrial security, be Malaysian or hold relevant residency, and possess strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. The role involves enforcing security regulations, performing routine patrols, and participating in an emergency response team. Physical fitness is required, and knowledge of firefighting and first-aid is an advantage.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in Industrial Security.
• Physically fit for routine patrols and emergency response.
• Malaysian citizens or relevant residence status required.

Responsibilities

• Protect company's properties, products and the safety of employees.
• Enforce access control, shipping security control, and monitoring of CCTV control centre system.
• Enforce security and safety regulations of the Company.
• Document and store information, activities, and events in a log and/or report.
• Perform routine patrols of the company’s facilities and grounds to deter criminal behavior and make Security’s presence known.
• Compulsory participation in emergency response team

Requirements

• SPM with at least 2 years experience in Industrial Security.
• Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ex-forces personnel are encouraged to apply.
• Physically fit.
• Knowledge in basic firefighting, first-aid and computer will be an added advantage.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
