Job summary

A leading job placement service in Malaysia is seeking a Security Operations Officer to act as the primary point of contact for on-site security matters. The successful candidate will manage emergency responses, oversee visitor management, and work with the Global Command Center on security systems. Applicants should have a diploma in security management or a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in security operations. Female candidates are preferred due to the nature of the work environment.

Qualifications

  • Must possess at least a Diploma in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in security operations.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus.

RM4000 - 4500/ month

Job Responsibilities:
  • Primary point of contact on site security matters for advice and/or response.
  • Incidents/emergency response management on site.
  • Work with the Global Command Center in manage security system on-site including access control, CCTV, alarm and other related systems on site.
  • Oversee Visitor Management Operations - Process employee badges and visitor access.
  • Support security systems maintenance and repair work with vendors when required.
  • Collaborative relationships with Facility Management to enhance the security service delivery.
  • Provide update and report to the Regional Security Director on all security matters.
  • Execute any security processes, initiatives and projects provided by Regional Security Director.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Female candidate required due to the nature of the work environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in security operations.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English (Mandarin is an added advantage).
  • Strong client service orientation.
  • Basic IT knowledge in hardware, network and database.
  • Basic report writing and documentation skills (Microsoft Office knowledge preferred).
