Are you eager to make a significant impact in cybersecurity? We are looking for a Technical Lead to bring innovative ideas and solutions to our team. This role is crucial in ensuring secure, appropriate, and timely access to enterprise resources, supporting our Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy.

This position involves an on-call rotation covering weekends and country holidays to support our ‘follow the sun’ model across Kuala Lumpur, Cork, and U.S. IAM teams. On-call duties are scheduled from Saturday 5:00 a.m. to Sunday 5:00 p.m. local time, focusing on resolving priority IAM requests.

The SecOps Engineering – Authentication Tech Lead is responsible for delivering and supporting the company's 24/7 identity platforms and services, ensuring security and efficiency in identity and access services. Responsibilities include operations, incident management, change management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and enhance our IAM program.

How you’ll make an impact:

Team and Technical Leadership:

  • Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing identity operation engineers.
  • Provide coaching, career development, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and operational discipline.
  • Cultivate a diverse and inclusive team.
  • Stay updated on IAM technologies, security threats, and regulations.
  • Drive adoption of innovative solutions for complex IAM challenges.
  • Serve as a technical lead and escalation point for team members.

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead incident management, change management, and problem resolution to support 24/7 services.
  • Monitor IAM systems performance and health, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Manage IAM authentication system components, ensuring updates and security patches.
  • Analyze system metrics, recommend improvements, and implement enhancements.
  • Maintain documentation and provide status updates.
  • Coordinate with IT teams and stakeholders for seamless operations.
  • Plan for system capacity and future growth.
  • Support user issues and requests related to Identity services.
  • Assist with audit and compliance requests.
  • Develop and deploy solutions to resolve problems, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.

Is this you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years supporting, delivering, and securing IAM services.
  • 5+ years experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, or Okta.
  • 5+ years experience with authentication and authorization technologies (e.g., MFA, LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).

Additional preferences:

  • Experience with ITIL frameworks.
  • Collaborative skills with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work remotely with distributed teams.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and security controls.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
