Job description
Overview

JOB PURPOSE: To develop and enhance the debt resolution programs and tools tailored for various SME segments. This role involves conducting comprehensive research, engaging with key stakeholders and fostering business collaborations to drive product development for better customer experience and deliver effective solutions that meet the evolving needs of SMEs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance SDMD repayment assistance/debt management programs that fill a niche in the various SME segments, ensuring faster processing times (TAT) and filling market niches.
  • Establish detailed product specifications according to several factors and uses, ensuring alignment with market demands and organizational goals.
  • Consult senior management and relevant departments throughout the development process to ensure that products are viable, well designed and meet strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and present proposals for new or enhanced products for evaluation and approval by relevant authorities.
  • Engage the regulatory authorities (e.g. BNM) and external stakeholders (e.g. Financial Institutions) for feedback and obtain consensus.
  • Keep abreast of external factors affecting SMEs in Malaysia including but not limited to economic, cultural, geographical, government related financing/support schemes and SME financing/banking related developments and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster strong business collaborations to drive product development and innovation, leveraging partnerships to enhance product offerings and customer experience.
Reporting Structure

The Senior Executive reports directly to the Section Head and Head of Department.

Job Challenge

Requirements for Senior Executive: It requires a person to have good knowledge and experience in business financing and financing criteria. It requires good stakeholder management skills in order to present and to get the buy-in of the proposed products/parameters with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. other dept, HODs, Management, PFPs & other agencies). Delivering creative and flexible SME customer solutions.

Working Condition

The Senior Executive works in a challenging environment in order to develop an acceptable SME product/parameters to be introduced under AKPK; one should be able to gauge critical information on SMEs, and keep abreast of market developments on SME related topics.
