Scrub Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner (Operating Theatre)

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Scrub Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (Operating Theatre) to join our team and contribute to our high standards of patient care.

Job responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Conduct mandatory patient checks including informed consent, patient identity and operation site prior to the start of procedure
• Conduct mandatory surgical checks prior to the start of the procedure, during and pre wound closure.
• Responded to surgical emergency requirements such as cardiac, pulmonary or respiratory failure and hemorrhage.
• Ensuring completion of all competencies and orientation checklist within stipulated time frame.

Qualifications & requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing
• Registered with Malaysian Nursing Board with valid Annual Practicing Certificate
• Candidate with experience as a nurse providing perioperative care is preferred.
• Post basic certification / Degree certification is an added advantage.
