Job Summary (PMO Lead – SAP S/4HANA Rollout)

We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead to oversee the end-to-end rollout of

SAP S/4HANA, covering all core SAP modules. The ideal candidate will have

8–10 years of hands-on experience in project/program management, with a

proven track record of delivering large-scale SAP implementations across

multiple industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Oil, Retail & Consumer

Goods, etc.).

Key Responsibilities & Expertise

SAP Program Governance & Delivery Excellence

Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of SAP

program governance frameworks, including project planning, milestone

tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.

Ensure the SAP S/4HANA rollout is delivered on time, within scope, and

budget, while maintaining compliance with organizational and

regulatory standards.

Oversee the integration and deployment of all SAP modules (FI/CO, MM,

SD, PP, QM, WM, PM, HR, etc.), ensuring cross-functional alignment and

operational continuity.

Business Process Analysis & Optimization

Analyze current business processes across all functional areas, identify

pain points, and propose standardization or automation opportunities

enabled by SAP S/4HANA.

Design scalable, efficient program management processes to improve

project visibility, resource utilization, and delivery accuracy.

Cross-Module & Cross-Functional Coordination

Ensure seamless collaboration between SAP functional teams, business

stakeholders, and support functions for unified delivery and operational

continuity.

Handle process dependencies such as data migration, cutover planning,

change management, and stakeholder communications.

End-User Enablement & Support

Develop and deliver training for project managers, module leads, and

stakeholders on PMO processes, SAP program tools, and best

practices.

Provide expert-level support for operational issues such as project

delays, resource conflicts, and reporting challenges.

Documentation & Compliance

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for project plans,

governance frameworks, risk registers, and training guides.

Ensure documentation supports traceability, audit requirements, and

handover throughout the SAP program lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Stay updated on the latest innovations in SAP S/4HANA, project

management methodologies, and digital PMO tools.

Drive ongoing improvements in PMO processes for better project

outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

8–10 years of hands-on experience in PMO, project management, or

delivery assurance roles, with a focus on SAP implementations.

Proven experience in end-to-end SAP project delivery from blueprinting

to post-go-live support.

Strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, WM, PM,

HR, etc.), project planning, risk management, resource allocation, and

reporting.

Integration knowledge with business functions such as finance,

procurement, operations, and IT.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience working in global delivery models with cross-functional

teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience in Engineering, Construction & Operations (EC&O) and/or

Manufacturing industries.

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Activate methodology, digital PMO

tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SAP Project System), and agile delivery

models.

Familiarity with advanced reporting tools and project analytics.

Education Qualifications & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information

Technology, or a related field is required.

Master’s degree (e.g., MBA in Project Management, Operations, or

Business Administration) is preferred.

Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) is

highly desirable.

SAP Certification or formal SAP project management training is an

advantage.
