Job summary

A leading technology consultancy in Malaysia is seeking a technical expert to deliver timely FIORI solutions and support clients effectively. The role involves configuring Fiori Launchpad, maintaining services, and troubleshooting client tickets. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or IT, strong skills in ABAP, ODATA, and FIORI, with support experience in Level 1-3 being advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Education in Computer Science or IT, SAP Certification is a plus.

• Experience in Level 1/2/3 support projects is advantageous.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Deliver the solution on timely manner
• Transfer the functional specification to Technical specification
• Fiori Launchpad configuration setup
• Setup and Maintain Fiori Services and logs
• Extensively work on FIORI applications, enabling extensions and customizations on the standard apps.
• Development/maintenance of CDS, ODATA services and Fiori/Ui5 applications.
• Plan and execute internal Unit testing and integration testing
• Identify root causes, proposing test cases and fixes, and developing new debugging tools while working closely with product teams
• Involve in the Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Support projects, including responding and solving the issues raised in the tickets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve client support tickets
• Work collaboratively with the Technical/AMS lead to address outstanding issues
• Work closely with customers, IT Functional to handle day to day support and maintenance to resolves outstanding incidents in a timely manner, provide continuance improvement opportunities
• Responsible for the quality of the deliverables
• Responsible for the communication and clarity of the progression of their tasks
• Responsible for the performance of the implemented solution
• Be a team player

Profile

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or IT; SAP Certification is good to have
• Skilled in using ABAP Workbench tools (RICEFW), ODATA, FIORI and JAVA
• Good all-round experience gained from project implementation and support role
• Hands on experience on Support Projects in Level 1/ Level 2/ Level 3(advantage)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams
