Salesforce CPQ Technical Consultant / Senior Developer / Developer

You will need a deep understanding of the Salesforce CPQ platform but just as importantly, top-notch people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders and gain integrity to get your visions built into successful solutions.

Role Description

Work Experience
Preferred Experience:
- Technical Consultant: At least 1 year working experience on Salesforce CPQ projects and; Minimum of 5 years working experience.
- Sr. Developer: At least 1 year working experience on Salesforce CPQ projects and; Minimum of 3 years working experience.
- Developer: At least 1 year working experience on Salesforce CPQ projects and; Minimum of 2 years working experience.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in regular pricing and quoting meetings.
- Take full ownership of the Salesforce CPQ implementation through all phases of development.
- Change and release management.
- Partner with relevant business unit to release changes to production.
- CPQ best practices based on business needs and requirements.
- Strong understanding of systems and processes supporting Sales and Marketing organizations.
- To be involved in system development projects and work closely with Business Analyst on the system requirements.
- Responsible for analyzing user requirements, programming, implementing projects and providing support on various system/projects.
- To develop knowledge and expertise in the applications, utilities, underlying core programming skill sets and development methodology's and procedures used within the systems environment.
- Assist in the design of new/revised computer systems by studying existing systems, analyzing user requirements, and specifying new/enhanced system components, and writing/amending programs according to specifications.
Skills & Competencies Requirements
Preferred skills:
- 1+ year Salesforce administration, release management, and deployment expertise.
- Functional knowledge of 3rd party applications that integrate with CPQ.
- 3+ years of experience using Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Self-directed learner and problem solver. Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering.
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and working as part of an agile team.
- Experience using declarative programming tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules.
- 1+ years of experience building quote-to-cash solutions.
- Familiarity with agile project management tools.
- Strong working knowledge of sales processes Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive.
Qualifications
Desirable & a plus if have as the following:
- Bachelor’s / Postgraduate degree or professional qualification in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Finance, or a similar field of study.
- Minimum of 2 Salesforce certifications, including Certified Salesforce CPQ Specialist.
- Active in the Salesforce community.
