A beverage company in Selangor is seeking a Sales Support Officer on a 6-month contract. Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, coordinating with logistics for inventory management, and communicating with customers regarding orders. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to manage customer documentation effectively. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on teamwork and safety compliance.
1. Receive purchase orders through email, fax, B2B system, or verbal instructions from the sales team.
2. Enter sales orders into the system based on purchase orders and customer requirements.
3. Review customer orders for items, quantities, and prices, and confirm with Sales or the customer to resolve any discrepancies.
5. Liaise and coordinate with planners and logistics team members for inventory and truck arrangements.
6. Communicate with customers regarding stock availability and order fulfillment, and reschedule order loading based on inventory and transportation availability.
7. Work with customers or the sales team to ensure goods are properly documented and aligned.
8. Arrange and request orders from the subsidiary’s factory to ensure sufficient stock to meet customer requirements.
9. Handle and coordinate customer documents during goods delivery.
10. Take on special tasks on an ad‑hoc basis as needed.
11. Maintain reasonable care for personal safety and health, as well as for others who may be affected by work activities.
12. Cooperate with the employer’s occupational safety and health requirements.
13. Follow all safety and health instructions, procedures, and measures implemented by the employer.
14. Wear or use the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided to prevent safety and health risks
