Job summary

A leading seafood company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive to drive customer development and manage accounts. Job description
Customer Development and Market Expansion
  • Indentify and develop new customers in assgined regions
  • Conduct regular market visits to build relationships and understand customer needs
  • Explore new market opportunities, gather market intelligence, and propose strategies for growth
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and yearly sales targets
Sales Execution and Account Management
  • Present products, explain specifications and recommend suitable solutions to customers
  • Negotiate terms including price, quantity and delivery according to company guidelines
  • Manage existing customer accounts to ensure repeat orders and long-term cooperation
3. Order Coordination
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as sales support to ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery
  • Follow up on outstanding orders, respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to products or delivery
  • Ensure all customer information, pricing and order details are updated accurately in the system
4. Reporting and Tracking
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review
  • Track sales performance against targets and provide updates on key opportunities
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends and report relevant insights
  • Provide post-sales service and support to customers such as product feedback, documentation needs or issue resolution
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and upselling opportunities
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in seafood or related industries
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Posses own transport and willing to travel frequently for customer visit
  • Good time management, self motivated and results-driven
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in report presentation
  • Communication skills in Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin (Mandarin speaking candidates preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients)
  • Fresh graduate with strong interest in sales may be considered
