We are seeking an experienced Sales Order Administrator to manage complex customer orders within our Industrial Segment. This role ensures accurate, timely order processing in compliance with company policies and quality standards, while supporting a seamless and positive customer experience. You'll serve as a key liaison between Sales, Customers, Finance, Operations, and other internal teams to facilitate smooth order management from booking through fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and audit customer booking packages in accordance with Global Booking Policy, SOX, and Revenue Recognition Policies.
- Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Accurately enter and book orders (including service contracts) in the global Oracle ERP System.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Planning, Manufacturing, and Shipping to ensure all terms and conditions are met.
- Maintain effective communication with Sales, Customers, and Internal stakeholders to resolve booking and customer satisfaction issues.
- Ensure bookings meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide timely order status updates and tracking information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with Key Account Sales and Service Engineers to support complex customer needs, particularly around scheduling.
- Interpret and apply Incoterms for both domestic and international bookings.
- Proactively manage backlog issues including:
- Support month-end and quarter-end activities to help meet revenue targets.
- Participate in departmental projects aligned with corporate objectives.
- Coordinate and communicate shipping details effectively with customers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 6–8 years of experience in a complex Order Management environment.
- Solid understanding of Revenue Recognition Rules and Incoterms.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English).
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with Oracle ERP and Salesforce.com (preferred).
- Working hours should remain flexible to accommodate overlapping time zones with both the US and European time zones, while still adhering to a daytime schedule.
- Skeleton support coverage is also required during local holidays.
