A leading sales management firm in Johor, Malaysia, seeks a National Sales Operation Manager to oversee nationwide sales operations. The role involves managing sales strategies and distributor relationships while driving operational efficiency across General Trade, Modern Trade, and e-commerce channels. Job Purpose The National Sales Operation Manager will oversee sales operations across Malaysia, driving execution of sales strategies, distributor management, and operational efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring effective coverage in General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), and e-commerce channels, while working closely with distributors, retailers, and internal teams to deliver sustainable business growth.
Manage nationwide sales operations to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor sales performance by region, channel, and distributor, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
Oversee distributor network performance, including coverage, secondary sales, and stock management.
Strengthen relationships with MT key accounts, wholesalers, and independent retailers.
Ensure strong outlet penetration, in-store visibility, and product availability across Malaysia.
Support channel-specific strategies (GT, MT) to maximize growth opportunities.
Ensure effective execution of trade promotions, in-store merchandising, and marketing campaigns.
Standardize sales processes, operational policies, and compliance across regions.
Work with Supply Chain and Logistics to optimize demand planning and timely deliveries.
Lead, coach, and develop Regional Sales Managers and the Sales Operations team.
Build a high-performance culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
Provide training and continuous improvement initiatives for field sales teams.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to support decision-making.
Partner with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to design effective trade programs.
Contribute to annual business planning and long-term sales strategy.
