Job description

As a Sales Mechanical Engineer at Optima Tricon Sdn Bhd., you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by using your technical expertise to sell and promote our innovative mechanical engineering solutions. Based in Penang, this full‑time position will see you work closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored products and services that exceed their expectations.

What you'll be doing

• Perform Mechanical Design.
• Provide technical advice and support to new and existing customer.
• Develop and maintain close productive relationship with the key accounts to ensure continuing sales support services are provided.
• Identify inputs to design and development, plan out the activities for effective implementation and monitoring of the design and development, including the need to manage the necessary change(s).
• Maintain the records of design and development in the respective files.
• Perform assembly process and the required verifications and/or validations such as inspections and testing during incoming, in-process as well as outgoing gates. Maintain all necessary records of such verifications and validations.
• Control drawings, both internally generated and externally received, to ensure their validity for distribution and use.
• Provide handling of customer complaint in a professional way.

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 to 3 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position.
• Computer literate and able to work independently.
• Knowledge in Solidworks software.
• Experienced in Mechanical designing & 3D Knowledge is an advantage.
