Overview

The role is combination responsibilities of both business development and sales, essentially finding new business while sales focus on closing deals. Building strong client relationships and achieving assigned sales target for Malaysia market.

Target segment: Data Centre, Semiconductor, Pharma, Renewable Energy, New Energy includes (Ammonia & Hydrogen), Auto Mobile, Marine (Vessel motors)

Area Coverage: Entire Malaysia

Responsibilities
1. Business Development
  • Monitor industrial and market trends to identify business opportunities.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the target segment.
  • Attend & represent company products in industry seminars, exhibition and events.
  • Establish new contacts and maintain strong relation with key decision-makers to drive business opportunities and partnerships.
2. Analysis and Strategy Development
  • Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive market expansion.
  • Conduct market research to identify the trends, customer needs , potential opportunity and competitor market landscape in the region, using insights to shape sales strategies and product offerings.
3. Pipeline Building and Sales Achieving
  • Proactively reach out to targeted market segment to approach potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to showcase their products/services and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with team to tailor solutions to meet customer needs
  • Build up realistic prospects and healthy order pipeline
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact to negotiation, contract closure and project implementation to achieve the Sales Target.
4. Reporting
  • Prospects, Orders & Sales Forecasting and Strategy & Action Plan with rigorous update
  • Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline development, and market trends to management on a regular basis
  • Utilize data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize business & Sales strategies and achieve Sales targets.

Business trip required (Overseas trip is limited) There will be a training in Singapore at first.

1~2 times business trip to Japan and India where there are regional offices there

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years BD experience with proven record in several similar market segment such as Data Centre , Semicon, Pharma, Renewable Energy, New Energy includes (Ammonia&Hydrogen ), Auto Mobile, Marine.(also handling similar items Motor, switch gear, Variable Frequency Drive or industrial machinery, factory equipment)
