Job summary

A leading biotechnology company based in Rawang, Selangor is seeking a skilled professional to conduct training, support sales of bioprocessing equipment, and maintain strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and have 2–3 years of hands-on bioreactor experience. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role, as well as flexibility for travel and technical consultation.

Qualifications

  • Preferred 2–3 years of hands-on experience with bioreactors/fermenters.
  • Possess own transport and flexible for frequent business travel.
  • Advantageous if candidate has experience in installation, training, or technical support for bioreactors.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product installation, demonstrations, and training sessions.
  • Listen to and understand customer needs to build relationships.
  • Provide technical consultation for suitable bioreactor configurations.
  • Assist customers in optimizing bioreactor performance.
  • Support sales of bioprocessing equipment to customers and distributors.
  • Maintain and expand customer accounts while meeting sales targets.
  • Develop new sales networks within the assigned region.
  • Improve technical product knowledge.

  • Bachelor's Degree in in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences or related field
  • Preferred 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with bioreactors/ fermenters (laboratory, pilot, or production scale)
  • Possess own transport and flexible for frequent business travel (domestic & overseas)
  • Advantageous if candidate has experience in installation, training, or technical support for bioreactors
  • Experience in technical sales, application support, or business development within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life science sector
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Responsibilities
  • Conduct product installation, demonstrations, and training sessions to showcase bioreactor capabilities.
  • Listen to and understand customer needs to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable bioreactor configurations based on customer applications.
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting and optimizing bioreactor performance for various applications (e.g., cell culture, microbial fermentation, photobioreactors).
  • Support sales IKA's bioprocessing equipment directly to end customers and distributors in the assigned region (APAC, excluding China and Hong Kong).
  • Maintain and expand customer accounts while meeting assigned sales targets.
  • Develop and establish new sales networks within the assigned region.
  • Constantly improve technical product and application knowledge.
