Job summary

A leading logistics company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales Executive to drive customer acquisition and maintain client relations. This role involves advising customers on various shipping solutions including air/sea freight and fulfillment services. The ideal candidate will have sales experience in logistics and possess strong communication and negotiation skills. Qualifications

  • Experience in sales within Logistics / Freight Forwarding / International Express services is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of import–export procedures, customs clearance, and international e-commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Search for and develop new customers with international shipping needs.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Advise customers on shipping solutions.
  • Prepare and send quotations, negotiate, and close contracts.
  • Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to process shipments.
  • Prepare sales reports and develop market expansion plans.

Take care of and maintain relationships with existing customers.

Advise customers on shipping solutions: Express, ePacket, Consolidation (Consol), Air/Sea freight, and Fulfillment services.

Prepare and send quotations, negotiate, and close service contracts.

Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to process shipments and resolve arising issues.

Prepare sales reports and develop market expansion plans on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
