Job summary

A leading fertilizer company in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated sales professional to develop and promote its range of fertilizers and agrochemicals. The role involves achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and working closely with management on marketing strategies. Candidates should possess a minimum qualification of a Professional Certificate in a relevant field, and familiarity with the fertilizer and agriculture sector is essential. Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous and strong communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and promote the company's range of fertilizers and agrochemicals.
  • Achieve sales targets and market share.
  • Work closely with the Area Manager on marketing strategies.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and field advisory.
  • Report to the Sales Manager on market activities.
  • Maintain customer base through calls and presentations.
  • Initiate and follow up on price indications and contracts.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Collect feedback on business activities.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in Mandarin
Proficiency in English
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia

Education

Minimum Professional Certificate or higher
Job description

To develop and to promote the Company's range of Fertilizers & Agrochemicals to the various sectors.

To achieve sales target and market share in line with our business expansion plan.

To work closely with Area Manager in implementing and developing marketing strategies, identifying market potential, and segmentation.

To develop market demand by conducting product demonstrations & field advisory to existing & potential customers.

Monthly report to Sales Manager pertaining to demand creation activities progress update, market environment, competitor activities, commodities, prices and customers’ issue.

Maintain and develop our customer base in the Agrochemical sector through sales call, presentations, seminars & product demonstrations.

Initiating & follow up on price indications, offers, orders/forecast, contracts, and samples.

To build and establish long term relationships with new and existing customers.

To collect relevant information and feedback on business related activities.

To perform other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.

Job Requirement

Minimum Professional Certificate or higher qualification in any relevant discipline.

Candidate familiar with fertilizer and agriculture section.

Fluent in speak Mandarin will be add advantage.

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Goal and results-driven, with exceptional customer service qualities.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Possess own transport and willing to travel.
