A leading chemical solutions company is looking for a Sales & Business Development professional to support marketing plans and manage customer relationships in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 1-2 years of experience in the chemical industry. Responsibilities include preparing quotations, managing sales reports, and leading value-selling initiatives. The position requires strong communication and negotiation skills, along with a willingness to travel locally and overseas.
Responsibility :
Sales & Business Development
Support marketing plans for latex and textile products.
Identify new business opportunities with guidance from Sales Manager.
Lead value-selling initiatives (e.g., technical solutions, cost-saving proposals).
Key Accounts & Coordination
Manage mid-tier and key customer relationships.
Assist in pricing, promotions, and achieving sales targets.
Operations & Logistics Support
Prepare quotations, purchase requisitions, and liaise with Ex-Stock suppliers.
Ensure smooth order processing and resolve related issues.
Prepare monthly sales reports and forecasts.
Monitor KPIs and suggest improvements.
Support budgeting and ROI tracking for marketing/R&D.
Special Assignments
Lead or support projects assigned by the Sales Manager or Deputy Managing Director.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Chemical, Applied Chemical or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of proven sales/ business development, preferably in Chemical-related industry (latex & textile).
Possess own vehicle. Willing to travel locally and overseas as needed.
Target-driven with strong sales, negotiation and good communication skills.
Good problem-solving and market analysis skills.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
