Job summary

A manufacturing company seeks a Sales Manager for its operations in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily sales activities, managing distributors, and conducting market research. Candidates must hold a degree and have a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in manufacturing. Fluency in Mandarin is essential, while English proficiency is a plus. Strong communication and negotiation skills are required for developing cooperative relationships in the region.

Responsible for carrying out the daily sales operations within the assigned area.

Manage and oversee sales activities in the designated region in line with the sales plans set by the Sales Department Manager.

Monitor market dynamics and development trends within the assigned region, and based on market changes, propose specific regional marketing plans, detailed workflows, and implementation guidelines.

Manage distributors within the assigned region, establish long-term and stable cooperative relationships with key distributors and processing plants, and be responsible for developing untapped markets in the area.

Take primary responsibility for market research, analysis, and forecasting in the assigned region.

Manage sales representatives in the assigned region, including providing business training, conducting performance evaluations, supervision, and inspections, as well as coordinating and handling various emergencies.

Coordinate potential conflicts between the company’s overall sales strategy and the specific marketing characteristics of the region, and apply the company’s marketing and pricing policies flexibly.

Carry out other tasks assigned by leadership.

Requirements:

Degree holder with a minimum of 2 year of sales experience.

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Fluent in speaking and writing in Mandarin, and English will be preferable. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
